PickYo publishes practical Morocco travel information for international visitors. This policy explains how we choose topics, evaluate sources, write recommendations and correct mistakes.
Our editorial purpose
Every guide should help a traveler make a decision, solve a problem, understand a place or approach a local situation with more confidence. We prioritise usefulness, clarity and local context over volume or trend-driven publishing.
Research and sources
For information that can change, we prioritise primary and authoritative sources. These may include Moroccan public authorities, official transport operators, airports, museums, heritage sites and official government travel or health guidance.
We may also consult maps, first-hand observations, established publications and recurring traveler questions to understand what needs explanation. Community discussions can reveal common problems, but they are not used as the sole source for formalities, safety, health, schedules or other sensitive facts.
When information cannot be verified confidently, we either qualify it, attribute it clearly or leave it out.
Practical recommendations
Recommendations are based on relevance to the reader, not on payment for inclusion. We explain trade-offs where possible—for example, speed versus cost, convenience versus atmosphere, or central location versus quiet surroundings.
PickYo does not sell tours and does not write articles to funnel readers toward a particular tour operator. If affiliate relationships or sponsored content are introduced in the future, they will be disclosed clearly without changing the standard applied to editorial recommendations.
Accuracy and updates
Transport procedures, entry formalities, opening arrangements, prices, emergency information and safety advice can change. We check time-sensitive claims before publication and review important guides periodically. Publication and update dates help readers judge how current a page is, but readers should still confirm critical details with the responsible authority or operator before acting.
Darija content
Darija phrases are selected for real travel situations and written in Latin letters for English-speaking visitors. Morocco has regional accents and vocabulary, and more than one natural translation may be correct. Audio and transliteration are intended to support communication, not to replace a professional interpreter or formal language instruction.
For allergies, health matters and emergencies, travelers should never rely on a phrase alone. Important needs should also be communicated in writing and confirmed with the responsible person.
Artificial intelligence and editorial responsibility
Digital tools may assist with research organisation, drafts, editing or image concepts. They do not replace source checking or editorial responsibility. Published facts, recommendations and corrections remain the responsibility of PickYo.
Corrections
Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review material corrections as quickly as practical and update the affected page when a change is justified. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a separate notice.
